Online therapy for anxiety in Texas
Anxiety has taken enough from you.
Do you find yourself asking these questions:
“Will I ever be good enough?”
“Am I not a strong enough believer?”
“Why am I still so fearful?”
Fear and worry can make you feel isolated. You might find yourself believing that “good Christians'' don't need help because they have faith. Those thoughts have been enough to shame you into silence- until now.
You’ve reached a breaking point.
You’ve had enough of the self-sabotage. It used to feel like life was against you, but now it seems that it’s you who’s against yourself. You manage to hide those feelings when you’re at work or with friends and family, but the thoughts are always in the back of your mind.
You worry that others don’t think you’re good enough. The doubt stops you in your tracks and keeps you from accomplishing the things you set out to do. The untouched to do lists, the endless scrolling on social media, and the piling resentment you’ve built towards yourself keep you further and further from who you were called to be.
Breaking chains and building courage
You were given a light to shine in the darkness. When you choose to leave anxiety behind, you’re able to experience the peace that silences fear and courage that renews strength. What kind of impact will you have on your community when you’re no longer weighed down by insecurity and self-criticism? Would you grow deeper connections with the people around you? Maybe you would allow yourself to step into the calling that you’ve been afraid to pursue.
. . .
In our work together, we’ll spend time exploring you and your story. We’ll dig deep to help you get a better idea of where your fears and worries might be rooted. Blind spots are difficult to find alone, but therapy allows you the opportunity to view your thoughts and feelings from a different perspective.
No two sessions will be the same. Some days we’ll look more at your past while other days will be spent focused on the challenges you’re experiencing in the present. You can expect to walk away from each session with a better understanding of the things you’re leaving behind and the future you’re walking toward.

FAQ
How do I know if I have anxiety?
Anxiety often looks very different from one person to the next. For some people it may lead to withdrawing from social situations while others may develop people-pleasing habits. Many people who have anxiety are able to hide it well and might feel accustomed to the level of worry, irritability, or fear they experience. In session we take a close look at how anxiety might be showing up in relationships and work environments.
How long will I need therapy?
Therapy is a journey of self-discovery and growth that can take time to develop. My goal is to help equip you with the tools you need to practice your new skills in and out of the therapy space. Some people prefer a short-term approach while others prefer a more in-depth approach. You decide the best pace for your healing.
What can I expect in our first session?
We will spend the first couple of sessions building a better understanding of the challenges that brought you to therapy. You are in control of how much and how soon you choose to share about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. We will work together to create goals that align with your needs and values.
EMDR for Anxiety
Some clients choose to use EMDR for overcoming anxiety. This method can be used by itself or combined with talk therapy.
I encourage clients to ask questions and get a better understanding of this method before deciding if it’s an ideal option for them.
